15. I also took this opportunity to emphasise on the need to adhere to the October 2008 understanding on fishing arrangements arrived at between the two countries, which has had a salutary effect on the incidence of fishermen’s arrests and on their safety.

इस अवसर पर मैंने दोनों देशों के बीच मछली पकड़ने से संबंधित व्यवस्थाओं के संबंध में अक्तूबर, 2008 में हुई सहमति का अनुपालन किए जाने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया जिसका मछुआरों की गिरफ्तारी की घटनाओं और उनकी सुरक्षा पर अच्छा प्रभाव पड़ा है।

18. In concluding, I should like to re-emphasise that the focus of our economic diplomacy in coming years will be on promoting trade and investment flows, especially in critical areas such as infrastructure, in assuring predictable energy supplies and in securing the widest possible access to technologies.

अन्त में मैं इस बात पर पुन: जोर देना चाहूंगा कि आगामी वर्षों में हमारे आर्थिक राजनय में मुख्यत: व्यापार और निवेश प्रवाहों, विशेष रूप से अवसंरचना जैसे क्षेत्रों में, पूर्वानुमेय ऊर्जा आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करने और प्रौद्योगिकी तक अधिकतम पहुंच सुनिश्चित करने जैसे महत्वपूर्ण क्षेत्रों पर जोर दिया जाएगा।

19. The important point is that Prime Minister emphasised that the point that the roadmap which we had laid out for the development of nuclear power plants would be adhered to, and if there is any issue regarding the site an alternative site would be made available.

महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि प्रधानमंत्री जी ने इस बात पर बल दिया कि हमने परमाणु ऊर्जा संयंत्रों के विकास हेतु जो कार्य योजना बनाई थी, उसका पालन किया जाएगा और यदि उक्त स्थल के संबंध में कोई मुद्दा उठता है, तो वैकल्पिक स्थान उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा।
